I know that many times people have to rely on their savings, or borrow from family members, when times get hard. Some even resort to borrowing from banks and "payday" loan entities. The latter choices usually leaves you in a worse situation that you were in to start with. The only advice I can give you is:
- Always keep your faith. Keep a clear head during crises and rough times. Don't make rush decisions that will lead to disaster down the road.
- Plan for the possibilities. Don't wait it out to see if it will happen. The news reports seem to be leaving us up in the air, as usual. If you plan and prepare, and nothing happens, then it will be "business as usual". At least you will be prepared, just in case you need to.
- Ban together with others for wisdom and support. Join together with others, if something should happen. We are all a community and we need to support one another to survive.
- Embrace the challenge. If this shutdown should happen, look at it as a way to make you stronger. Don't give up or give in. Weather the storms and learn from the experiences. You will come out wiser and stronger. Really! We all have been through so much in our own personal lives and as a nation. We can weather this storm as well.
